A Short Presentation of Solfit

Solfit was founded in 1997 by Jasbir Singh (computer scientist) and Remo Stebler (degree in informatics and economics). Jasbir, our CEO, leads our commercial and customer driven activities and has over 20 years experience in developing successful software solutions. He has many satisfied customers in the engineering, automobile, chemical, pharmaceutical and IT sectors. Remo, our COO, has over 15 years IT experience. Before co-founding Solfit he had worked at numerous multi-national companies as a system engineer, architect and project manager in large heterogeneous environments. Both Jasbir and Remo are actively involved in our current projects.

We are based in Basel, Switzerland which borders both France and Germany, with the Swiss Alps, the German Black Forest and the French Vosges all being a half hour drive away. For people who enjoy skiing, trekking, golfing, fishing, good wine and good food… this is paradise. Basel is reachable by train and plane from across Europe, Zurich is a 50 minute drive away and has a large international airport. Our employees live in Switzerland, Germany, France and the UK.

Many of our experiences and solutions come from solving the challenges at our ‘local’ customers: Novartis, Roche, Syngenta, Actelion, the Bank for International Settlements, UBS and Credit Suisse. They are all located close to our offices and we remain in constant dialogue with them. We look forward to many more years of problem solving.
